THE REAL DISEASE IS FEAR

Date: 29.11.2010
Actually, nine – tenths of the danger in an illness comes from fear. Fear can give us the apparent symptoms of an illness; and it can give us the illness too,- its effects can go so far as that.
There are physical movements, effects of the pressure, which sometimes create underground fear that may do harm if the fear is not rejected. There is, for instance, a certain pressure in the head of which there has been question and which is felt by many, especially in the earlier stages, when something is still closed has to open. It is a discomfort that comes nothing and can easily be got over, if we know that it is an effect of the pressure of the forces to which we are opening when they works strongly on the body to produce a result and to hasten the transformation. Taken quietly, it can turn into a not un-pleasurable sensation. But if we get frightened, we are sure to contract a very bad headache; it may even go as far as a fever. The discomfort is due to some resistance in the nature; if we know how to release the resistance, then we are immediately free from the discomfort. But, get frightened and the discomfort may turn into something much worst.
Whatever the character of the experience we have, we must give no room to fear; we must keep an unshaken confidence and feel that whatever happens is the thing that had to happen. Once we have chosen the path, we must bold by accept all the consequences of our choice. But, if we choose and then draw back and choose again and again drawback, always waving, always doubting, always fearful, we create a disharmony in our being, which not only retards our progress, but, can be the origin of all kinds of disturbance in the mind and vital being and discomfort and disease in the body.
So, the real disease is fear, throw the fear among and the disease will go. The first thing from which we must cure once forever is Fear. It is more dangerous than the worst disease. We must understand that without fear nothing can happen.
Not to worry. More we think of it, more we concentrate upon it and above all, more we fear, more we give a chance for things to now. If, on the contrary, we turn our attention and interest elsewhere, we increase the possibility of cure. All fear must be overcome and replaced by a total confidence in the Divine grace.
